An immersive experience at the Salone: Kriskadecor transforms the space into an ocean of calm.
The concept behind the Salone del Mobile stand stood out for its uniqueness. From the outside, a curtain of Kriskadecor chains shimmered in sync with the light, reflecting sparkles that evoked the gentle movement of ocean waves. Yet, it was upon crossing that threshold that a truly sensory experience began: the visitor was transported into an underwater world where sound softened and the space became fully immersive, creating the sensation of being beneath the sea.
This time, the Kriskadecor chains were tinted in marine tones that played with light. As it passed through, it refracted into a palette of blues, turquoises, and greens—evoking the movement of the sea and generating a serene, calming environment.
Inside the stand, jellyfish floated with hypnotic movement, while schools of fish and other sea creatures seemed to glide between layers of chains. Every element was carefully designed to create a multisensory experience, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the stillness of the deep sea.
The installation was divided into two areas, each representing a different facet of the ocean: exploration and knowledge.
Experiential Zone: Here, the ocean came to life through the senses. Light interacted dynamically with the chains, sounds softened to resemble the murmur of water, textures invited touch, and the air carried a subtle sea breeze—allowing visitors to feel as though they were floating in a boundless ocean.
Business Zone: In this space, design and acoustics met their practical application. Industry professionals could discover how these innovative solutions can transform their own spaces, blending aesthetics and functionality in perfect balance.
With this stand design, Kriskadecor redefined the concept of sensory immersion in interior design, harnessing the endless creative possibilities of their chains.
