Spain is in 2025 — A graphic identity to transform the habitat

Habitat design constantly faces the challenge of reinventing the spaces we inhabit — and, through them, the way we live. Its purpose goes beyond aesthetics: it drives the creation of more human, ethical, creative, and balanced environments. But for that impact to be real and reach society, another element is just as essential: communication.

Informing, connecting, and engaging with people is just as important today as designing itself. Citizens not only want, but need to be active participants in their own development. In this context, communication becomes a fundamental bridge between design and society.

Spain is in presents its most memorable edition yet: a visual proposal that seeks to reflect authenticity, impact, and creativity, connecting with the reality of contemporary habitat through a clear and meaningful graphic language.

This year, we started with an iconic, memorable, and distinctive typeface — easy to recognize and recall — as the foundation of the identity. From it, we built all the graphic compositions and adaptations of the project, ensuring a consistent, flexible, and recognisable presence across all formats.

To pay tribute to the diversity of Spanish design, we developed a wide and vibrant color palette, capable of expressing the richness of the habitat through a variable, colorful, and adaptable brand. We also incorporated stickers as functional graphic resources, used to highlight dates, locations, and key information across various communication materials.

With this proposal, Spain is in 2025 establishes itself as a dynamic and approachable brand — one that connects with diverse audiences through a bold, flexible graphic language that remains deeply rooted in the reality of contemporary design.
